I became a counsellor because I am a curious and compassionate individual who loves to connect, and I believe we all carry within us a unique Self that is deeply true, authentic and good. So many of us lose that connection as we navigate the noise of a world that is continuously speeding up. It isn't easy to make space to notice and process the hurts we pick up along the way, let alone the hurts that are passed down to us.

I will help you to still the noise, notice your needs, and re-connect with your Self beneath the roles, masks and parts you play in everyday life. Along the way we may uncover and examine, at a safe and gentle pace, deeper hurts and feelings which need to be validated and healed through connection to Self.

I am a qualified and accredited integrative practitioner, who draws on the Person centred approach, Cognitive Behavioural therapy and Transactional Analysis. I have a trauma informed approach, and draw on the Internal Family Systems model and Polyvagal theory. Some examples of what I typically help clients with include: growing self-awareness and self-worth, managing low mood, depression and anxiety, setting boundaries and building healthier relationships, overcoming addictions and self-defeating behaviours.

For personal reasons I am not currently taking on bereavement work.

"The good life is a process, not a state of being. It is a direction, not a destination. Today we have abundant opportunities to utilize our strengths and passions, do things we enjoy, and connect with people we love. Tomorrow might bring a world of exciting new possibilities, but today, wherever we stand on our journey, can be an adventure in itself."
